Learn ArcGIS Education Program Coordinator

Overview

We invite you to join a small team focused on enabling educators to prepare their students with the tools needed to teach the next generation! Our Learn ArcGIS team is developing a global education and enablement strategy to help change the way GIS technology is taught. You understand how teachers teach and how students learn--leverage this to influence and support educational partnerships and help build our global network of educators.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with geography/GIS educational materials
  • Experience supporting face-to-face and distance learners
  • Familiarity with learning management systems
  • Relevant experience using current GIS technology and leveraging the full ArcGIS suite of tools; specifically, deploying, and managing ArcGIS Online organizations at scale
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in geography, computer science, or a STEM related field, depending on position level
