Want an internship with a multimillion-dollar global software development company on your resumé? Sharpen your contract negotiation skills by working with our experienced legal team.


Responsibilities:

Work alongside team members as you support in-house legal research and writing efforts. Over the summer, interns worked on a variety of projects such as:

  • Negotiating changes on international contracts
  • Researching and documentation for non-disclosure agreements, export compliance, and open source licensing
  • Researching and analysis to streamline contracting processes

Program Timeline

  • Applications Accepted: September 1–December 31, 2018 at 5:00 pm PST
  • Interviews: Students selected for phone interviews will be notified by email on a rolling basis November 2018–March 1, 2019
  • Internship: 12 weeks beginning in late May or June

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled second year (day) or third year (night) law students who have completed courses in the following subject areas: contracts, torts, corporations/business associations, business planning, international law, international business transactions, M&A, securities, intellectual property, licensing, patent prosecution or litigation, computer law, Internet law, privacy law, and/or export control law
  • Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2018
  • Able to complete a 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2018

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the high-tech industry including computer software, hardware, and geospatial data
