Senior Manager, Email Campaign

Job Summary: The Sr Mgr Production Analysis is responsible for leading a team of analysts for marketing campaigns across the enterprise; including email campaigns, statements functions, audience selection and performance analytics. Essential Job Functions: • Directly manage campaign production specialists (both email campaigns and Statements), and Marketing Campaign Ops analysts
• Own and manage account(s) from a campaign/production standpoint
• Understand & review reporting to help identify opportunities & successes
• Partner with Compliance, Legal & other business owners to resolve high priority issues as needed
• Oversee intermediate projects and new client intakes
• Oversee campaign process and production resources
• Lead and drive production process optimization initiatives and create highest achievable performance and reduce costs
• Queue management and resource assignment on incoming business
• Maintain campaign process documentation and template forms to ensure seamless service experience across book of business
• Assist in the development, communication, and rollout back-up plan across book of business during production resource outages
• Reporting: Track key metrics including Client billable activities, individual productivity, etc. Ensure immediate teams reports are current and accurate
• Serves as the primary escalation point during issue resolution
• Leads the efforts to champion process improvements and efficiencies
• Lead and drive new hire selection process
• Lead and/or develop content for on-going team training programs
• Provide feedback to associates as necessary both real time and conduct bi-annual reviews
Preferred Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Operations Management
Preferred Work Experience: 13-17 years in similar or related field Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The incumbent should have previous experience as a campaign production analyst and/or equivalent/relevant Leadership experience in the Production space. Special emphasis is on resource management, Customer Service, escalation management/problem resolution, gathering requirements, analysis, ability to translate business requirements into functional/business specifications, creating test plans, and developing quality assurance methodologies.
It is desirable for the incumbent to have had experience in Audience Selection (Querying a database), A/B Testing (Splitting out the Target Audience into different test groups) and/or Segmentation (using criteria to split out a population).
Specifically, the following knowledge/skills are expected:
• Strong working knowledge of email marketing/campaign management tools like Dream, Harmony, Exact Target or equivalent (Harmony preferred)
• Understanding of email and web marketing management including graphic design production, email coding and attention to detail are preferred
• Technical skills in SAS, SQL and proficiency in campaign management tools like IBM Unica or equivalent tools highly desirable
• Solid work experience in performing and leading production tasks within the marketing delivery process
• Hands-on experience in Change Management and Issue Management
• Strong working skills with all Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, both written and verbal, with team and internal partners, at all levels.
• Strong working knowledge of project management
• Ability to learn new systems and support analyst training on systems
• Proven ability with managing process or functions
• Proven ability to develop, construct and execute validation plans
• Has contributed to or authored client deliverables
• Has maintained project/account documentation
• Has worked with technical staff to design and implement technical solutions
• Has experience in systems development
• Has participated in integration of new development into an existing technical solution
