Director - Loyalty Solutions Consultant
The Director, Technology Solutions Consultant Architect provides problem solving, analysis, and technical support for our client and the internal development team. This role is technical in nature, but actual coding isn't part of the responsibilities. This person should know how to dig into code, see how things are working, and from there put a white paper/document around the solutions that's being built for the client; development is done in Oracle and Java. The Director, Technology Solutions Consultant should be able to see gaps in the solution and make recommendations on how to fill the gap and create a solution to solve the problem. This position will work closely with the client team to quickly and easily document and transition solution overviews, high level plans, and sizing to release/wave specific implementation teams. Troubleshoots problems and contacts other technical groups for consultation as required. Verifies and documents system defects. Then concurrently, be comfortable taking input from the technical leadership team and make it easily understandable from the client perspective.
The ideal candidate will utilize analytical and project management skills to proactively identify gaps between internal plans and external expectations and effectively communicate with team members and customers. The candidate will also be responsible for doing impact assessments as it relates to current platform functionality and future proposed solutions.
Demonstrate expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, and languages. While also enhancing supervisory skills, shows initiative and takes responsibility for decisions that impact project and team goals.
This position requires an individual who can work well under pressure, multi-task, and participate and communicate well with a team. Attention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required in addition to:
• Should be able to interface directly with the client teams and internal teams.
• Good understanding of design and architecture around an enterprise multi- tier application customer facing.
• Oracle database design understanding and basic level proficiency in SQL is required. Java is strongly desired
• Strong documentation skills
• Familiarity working with Technical Design Documents and Functional Design Documents. Must be able to demonstrate ability to provide thorough documentation skills. Should be able to articulate concepts into document for technical and non-technical facing audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree in technical/marketing concentration or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with AWS stack is strongly preferredConditions of Employment
