Summary

  • Leverages knowledge of the organization’s data, business processes, applications, and infrastructure to design a holistic and optimized analytics platform.
  • Responsible for recommending and selecting appropriate technologies for a given customer from a variety of open source, commercial, and cloud based offerings.
  • Defines project objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Analyze and assess analytics needs based on requirements. Responsible for driving the discussions that define KPIs meeting client business requirements.
  • Implement analytics tags, scripting, reporting, etc.
  • Design and conduct tests of implemented analytics.
  • Act as liaison between business, marketing and technology teams.
  • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
  • Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
  • Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications

  • 4-year Computer Science degree or comparable experience
  • 5+ years professional experience, 3+ years with Adobe Analytics \ Site Catalyst minimum

Web analytics skills: Adobe Analytics \ Site Catalyst, Omniture, Google Analytics, GTM, DTM, IBM Customer Analytics \ Coremetrics, Piwik, ComScore, dashboards, reports, funnels, Site auditing tools, events, A/B testing, tracking code tagging.

Scripting and Development skills: Java, UML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS Visio, SOAP, ReST, JQuery, AJAX, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, Web User Interface Design, Software Requirements, Software Development Process, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), software version control
