Here at EPAM, we are building an industry solutions practice focused on our Media, Entertainment and Telecom BU. The growth we are experiencing is driving the need for a Principal Consultant to support our strategic efforts in telecom.

Focused on streaming video, distribution and the products enabled by them, we are looking for a domain leader who can understand the industry challenges, apply them to client needs, and craft solutions for how to address them.
What You'll Do

  • Lead EPAM strategic engagements in planning, selecting, and optimizing offerings that map a customer's vision & requirements to solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert for streaming video, broadcast, media distribution, and the products enabled by them in the industry
  • Apply the business models, monetization strategies, and the market trends driving the industry to solve customer challenges
  • Develop business and product strategies to support our customers' operations, commerce, and digital platforms
  • Work with our clients to understand emerging industry trends and guide their product strategy to support those trends
  • Lead business development and demand generation activities leveraging unique industry perspectives
  • As a Principal Consultant, you will help to define EPAM's go to market value proposition for telecom solutions. This includes the interfacing with other senior media & entertainment leadership to craft other related industry offerings
  • Define, implement and maintain industry best practices that balance business, technology and consumer needs
  • Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals and establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals
Requirements
  • Experience leading and implementing solutions for streaming and broadcast
  • Proven ability to operate independently at client locations. We are lean and rapidly growing-we need experienced consulting leaders who are capable of taking charge while also engaging in production activities
  • End to End understanding of consumer experiences, devices, content distribution, media management, recommendation/personalization and monetization solutions
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and content systems
  • Experience with back office systems for rights and licensing management
  • Strong understanding of media & entertainment technologies and trends
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencer skills
  • Skilled at analyzing complex business issues with the ability to effectively communicate these issues to clients
  • Able to anticipate and identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues as they occur
  • Executive level communication skills are required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven record of building effective teams-recruiting and retention is critical
  • Project management, preferably Agile, required
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree. Additional education is appreciated
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing high growth environment
  • Strong client network within the telecom industry
