DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a PEGA Development Team Lead for our Wroclaw office responsible for creation & maintenance of PegaRULES applications of different complexity, integration of back-end services as well as building UI for operations and frontend users and coordinating the team technically to the successful delivery.

Primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Provide reasonable estimation of the technical effort and commit to them
  • Coordinate technically the team effort for a successful delivery of the requirements
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Pega artefacts
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Requirements
  • Proficient in Pega, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, inheritance, polymorphism
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Skill for writing JSP code and reusable Java libraries
  • Experience with DB tools such as Toad and SQL knowhow
  • Familiarity with Pega UI rules (such as portal, harness, section, control)
  • Knack for writing clean, readable documentation in- & outside of Pega
  • Experience with databases and Pega typical schemas
  • Basic understanding of the rule resolution (incl. direct and pattern inheritance) within Pega
  • Creating database artefacts that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Implementing unit test activities
  • Proficient understanding of Pega rule versioning and deployment mechanism
  • Familiarity with Pega supporting tools such as SMA, PLA, Visio
  • Familiarity with integration rules, connectors, and listeners
  • Minimum of 4 Years' Experience
  • Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in Development Lead role
  • English language a must
