What You'll Do

  • Analyze business requirements and be an active participant in the various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including technical design, solution development, system configuration, test documentation, execution, and ongoing issue identification and resolution
  • Participate in the global developer community to evolve the architecture and delivery approach
  • Partner with cross functional teams to deliver solutions that meet objectives and improve experiences
  • Maintain the highest level of development standards throughout each phase of a project by writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code
  • Further your knowledge and enthusiasm of software engineering techniques by participating in trainings, certifications, and engaging with your peers
Requirements
  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working in software development with hands-on experience with any of the following:
    • Core Java
    • Creational, Structural, and Behavioral Design Patterns
    • CSS, HTML, Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
    • RESTful API
    • CI and CD within the SDLC
    • Unit Testing
    • Databases like Oracle, Mongo DB, MS SQL Server
  • Firm understanding of the clean code concept and committed to the use of engineering practices (such as test driven-development) that support rapid delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Guide team members who are operating in an agile development model
  • Work effectively across a global organization, by building relationships and trust with a team, but also working independently as needed
