Description
Our ideal candidate will act as the Program Manager on complex digital programs/projects with significant technical complexity and program complexity. The role requires a senior leader expected to interact with the client's C suite, technical groups, and business units serving as a trusted consultant. Day to day responsibility includes program/project delivery, co-leadership of global technical, UX, BA, and QA streams.

Your practical experience is a must in engaging the leading cross functional teams, ensuring green delivery, ensuring one-team approach, and providing hands-on leadership of global delivery teams.
What You'll Do
  • Leading Large and Complex Digital Delivery:
    • Leads program(s) and project(s) with average team size of 30 to 70+ FTEs depending on the project. Responsible for delivery of required module(s) or solution(s), under different delivery model such as fixed price or capacity based
    • Leads communication with all stakeholders/customers and handling of all the program/project related delivery matters. Has experience to work with C level executives
    • Work with Architect and UX leads to create modern enterprise digital solutions based on the variety of application platforms, cloud infrastructure, advanced data/machine learning features, and user driven designs
    • Understand dependencies of technical components, relationship with UX / Design, 3rd party integrations, and level of risk involved with specific implementation approaches. Able to correlate architecture with a detailed implementation plan. Actively monitor, manage, and resolve any risks
    • Lead off-shore and on-shore teams along with DMs and PMs. Foster One Team mindset. Track delivery efficiency and work with PMs/DMs to increase each sprint and keep on track for green delivery
    • Experience in setting up strong governance structure to manage the delivery in meeting the objectives of the program/project and customer's expectation
    • Responsible for shaping solutions and properly scoping / pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
  • Client Management and Technical Consulting:
    • Work with all client groups and client leadership. Understand internal client dynamics. Understand influencers and decision makers and their part in the overall company's strategy
    • Guide client in the most efficient implementation in an integrated, mixed delivery model (mixed client and EPAM resources or responsibilities). Set quality gates and systematic approach to success. Track and improve delivery efficiency
    • Serve as an expert Digital implementation consultant, providing expert advice to a client on technical Transformation/Product strategies. Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business
    • Think out-of-the-box and work with Account Manager and other EPAM leadership to craft proposals for additional solutions and services based on the specific technical needs and business objectives
What You Have
  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated track record of leading teams delivering end-to-end digital solutions and having both fixed price and capacity based delivery experience
  • At least 50% of working/delivery experience and 50% in-depth understanding of the following implementations:
    • In-depth knowledge of one or more: ERP Solution, CRM, e-Commerce, Enterprise CMS
    • Microservices and API-First Solutions
    • Classic vs Headless CMS
    • Cloud Based Delivery
    • DevOps including CI/CD
    • Service Operation models for Enterprise Solutions
    • Front-end framework solutions and implementations
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals to accomplish common goals
  • Proven track record in fostering partnership experience with the clients/stakeholders and can hold tough conversation to keep client hones
  • Strong Knowledge of and experience with: Systems Analysis and Design, Agile Team Management, Resource Allocation and Leveling, and process Improvement
  • Strong problem solver and creative thinker
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team
  • Experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across large scale accounts and project streams
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills
  • Strong digital knowledge or experience with particular emphasis on delivery, strategy, consulting, team management and product development
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Able to travel up to 30+%-depending on the project
