What You'll Do

  • Help clients solve their most important business problems using Data Science, Advanced Analytics and ML/AI. This role calls for a combination of business aptitude, broad analytics and data acumen, and robust project management skills. Specifically your day to day work will require you to:
    • Understand client's business needs and key pain points
    • Lead client teams and internal teams though all stages of engagement from pre-sell to MVP to scaled delivery
    • Assemble and lead a team of EPAM analysts, data scientists and engineers to deliver impactful results
    • Drive solution development and provide thought leadership
    • Guide team - including offshore - on a day to day basis; ensure high quality of delivery
    • Work with client teams to drive adoption, and work to remove business, technical and political roadblocks
    • Provide project management: ensure projects are delivered within the agreed schedule and budget, deliver clear and consistent communications within projects and across stakeholders of all levels, manage project scope, expectations to keep everyone aligned
  • 8+ Years of CPG or Retail analytics experience, preferably on vendor side
  • CPG / retail domain knowledge, ability to comfortably discuss business issues with clients
  • High competency in CPG syndicated data
  • Competency/experience in Big Data and Cloud technologies, including Cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehousing
  • Experience and proven track delivering data processing platforms and/or scaled analytics solutions to CPG or retail clients, ideally with an area of deep expertise in one or more specific areas (data platforms, RGM, e-commerce, forecasting, trade optimization or similar)
  • Proven track record of pre-sales engagements which resulted with awarded business
  • Practical knowledge to participate in and influence solution design discussions
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale analytics/data/technology initiatives
  • Strong communications and client management skills, poise and presence to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work with challenging clients and objectives
  • Desire to learn & expand your comfort zone whenever a new technological trend in Data & Analytics arises
