Position Summary

Situated within the eOne Family & Licensing teams in London, the Senior Digital Producer plays a key role in the growth of a multi-faceted and highly profitable family entertainment business.  The successful candidate will join a team of 100, and will be expected to work closely and proactively with the commercial, marketing and business development functions of eOne Family.

Working with marketing and commercial departments, propose and implement digital projects for eOne Family properties and brands

  • Working closely with marketing and commercial colleagues, responsible for proposing, developing & implementing cohesive digital projects that reflect the division’s commercial goals and the key brand management themes of our diverse range of properties
  • Be able to present to marketing and commercial heads and external parties to get buy-in/approval on concepts and strategies with localisation and global roll-out in mind
  • Prepare RFPs as and when necessary, and manage the collation and review of those proposals, and the subsequent projects that arise
  • Develop best practice frameworks to ensure that the division can make the most of internal knowledge generated across its properties and brands

 

Project manage the creation of digital assets (apps, websites)

  • Critically review documents prepared by third parties (e.g. budgets, statements of work, game design documents, contracts) to ensure that they reflect the agreed brand strategy and reflect the desired outcomes from a brand management perspective
  • Review, benchmark and challenge third party budgets / proposals to ensure proposals are commercially reasonable
  • Work closely with consultants, digital agencies, developers and others to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget and that any risks / deviations are quickly identified and mitigated and reported to commercial heads
  • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to ensure that editorial and theming within assets reflects brand strategies
  • Manage the production schedule of apps and websites for global launch ensuring that projects launch smoothly, on time and to budget
  • Responsible for managing the budget throughout the financial year

Key Competencies

  • Digital expert with an in-depth knowledge of the children’s social media, website and app spaces, and the evolving manner in which children engage with IP
  • Demonstrable passion for content and children’s brands
  • Line management of Digital Producer and junior members of the growing team
  • Strong familiarity with digital metrics to track app and website performance e.g. Google Analytics, Flurry, Mixpanel
  • Demonstrable project management experience with a track record of turning strategy into tangible results for children’s brands
  • Experience in resolving the problems inherent in any new digital project, whether prioritisation, compliance, budgetary or technical
  • Takes a proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Has a direct impact on the audience, through creation of innovative digital and social marketing activity
  • A diplomat, with the ability to work collaboratively, constructively and effectively with other departments in the division
