Position Summary

eOne Licensing are looking to grow their dynamic team by recruiting a Marketing Manager reporting to the General Manager. This Melbourne based role will focus on developing and executing consumer brand marketing initiatives & retail marketing programs to support the brand licensing programs, as well as careful management of the overall brand communications across all partners.

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Management of marketing budget, monitor and control marketing expenditure and conduct financial analysis of expenditure in conjunction with GM
  • Management and execution of ANZ yearly marketing plan, at consumer level & retail/trade level across all brands, including but not limited to; events, promotions, charity partnerships, media advertising, POS, print, digital, social media, TV support and PR
  • Present updated brand and marketing plans & opportunities to current and potential licensees and promotional partners on a regular basis
  • Review all partner/licensee marketing plans; highlight key brand opportunities and ensure follow up & execution
  • Management and implementation of retail strategy with support from GM & Licensing Manager
  • Co-manage retailer relationships in conjunction with GM & Licensing Manager, including (but not limited to) independents, specialty, mass market, grocery & department and online retailers
  • Conduct regular retailer updates and meetings in conjunction with GM & LM. Update buyers and marketing teams on status of brands, including brand updates, new licensees & products and general brand activity
  • Manage key product/category launch programs. Present product and promotional opportunities, including catalogue planning in conjunction with LM
  • Manage appointed PR agency, along with any external agencies
  • Manage all charity inquiries and partnerships
  • Support trade marketing initiatives & events as required in conjunction with eOne Team
  • Conduct frequent market visits to ensure execution of all brand activity is on par in conjunction with Team
  • Competitive environment - keep abreast of trends and monitor competitors in the market, and analysing & interpreting consumer research (i.e. Brand Trends and industry data)
  • Proactively bring marketing opportunities to the table for discussion and communicate regularly to the wider team on local marketing initiatives
  • Managing ANZ marketing & social media calendars and ensuring that these are co-ordinated and up to date
  • Work with General Manager to ensure that retail, product, licensing and marketing initiatives are co-ordinated to ensure that the brand is effectively maximised at key times. Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to at all times
  • Digital/online and social media management for all brands (local pages & websites) and support digital marketing (i.e. App launches) with eOne UK marketing team
  • Work with Licensing Assistant to ensure smooth marketing purchase order process and invoices are paid in a timely fashion
  • Support general day to day duties and administration for the Australian office and general licensing division as required (competition prizes, goody bags, day to day enquiries etc.)
