Senior Organizational Performance Specialist

As a Senior Organizational Performance Specialist, you will provide a broad range of consultative services related to talent development, performance management, organization design, talent review, and change strategies by operating as a primary liaison and trusted business advisor to various levels of IT leadership. You will collaborate with IT leaders to understand talent needs, align solutions to address needs, and strive for continuous and measured improvement of organizational and individual performance. You will guide opportunities that drive management team effectiveness, improve talent depth and skill alignment for employees. You will provide guidance to management regarding interrelations of blended communities with our employee and contractor workforce. You will coordinate and/or conduct development programs and will champion change and help position the organization for success by coaching and cultivating leaders. You are expected to have a very solid background and understanding of talent and organizational management strategies. Critical to your success is effective working relationships with IT leadership and Workforce Services partners, as well as exceptional communication and influence skills including the ability to facilitate challenging leadership interactions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serves as a liaison to IT organization to identify organizational planning needs, goals, and trends; responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication to leadership of organizational needs and requirements.
  • Collaborates with management teams by providing strategic leadership, planning, coaching, facilitating, and consultation to teams and individuals to identify challenges; identifies and assists with implementing actions plans and solutions.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to managers and employees to understand needs and collaborates to drive out solutions and identify available tools and resources to support employee development and organization performance.
  • Guides and facilitates talent planning discussions to drive out high and low performers, gaps, critical roles, and at risk employees.
  • Identifies challenges and successes of IT performance initiatives, identifies opportunities for improvement, and assists with linking findings to development plans.
  • May participate in the development and evaluation of vendor relationships and make recommendations for vendor selection; assists with contract negotiation. May utilize, evaluate, and modify external vendor materials, as necessary.
  • Assesses designs, develops, markets, implements, evaluates, and maintains IT performance and department initiatives.
  • Stays up to date on knowledge and research related to area; evaluates and implements for organization, as needed.
  • Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
  • Maintains established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures; continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security.

  • Command of all tools used in MS Office Suite
  • Must also have experience in one or more of the following areas: Organizational Development, Employment Law, Learning, Compensation or HR

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical skills preferred
  • Basic understanding of Information Technology function preferred
  • Experience working for a global company preferred
  • Knowledge of training design, adult learning principles, learning styles and/or remote learning preferred
