HR Coordinator- ARMS Business Solutions (sits in Madison, WI)

Responsibilties

ARMS Business Solutions has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Coordinator that will be based in our Madison, WI office and will also support locations in Anaheim, CA and St. Louis, MO . You will be responsible for providing administrative support for activities related to personnel record maintenance, HRIS data entry and management, and benefit and policy administration. This position creates, updates, and maintains personnel records and human resources related files as well as coordinating and facilitating the New Employee Orientation and employee touch bases. You will also process forms, complete required documentation, and update forms for human resources activities.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Utilizes the HRIS System (PeopleSoft but moving to Workday) to update employee records
    • Process new hires, updates and terminations
    • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
    • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
    • Conducts audits of employee records and HR programs and recommends corrective action
    • Assists with the offboarding process
    • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
    • Assists with recruitment and interview process by scheduling interviews as requested by the HR Manager
    • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents
    • Files documents into appropriate employee files
    • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
    • Prepares new-employee files
    • Oversees the time entry by staff
    • Understands and can speak to EHI/ABS policies and handbook

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • One year of related experience in the Human Resources field and HR Coordinator role
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • Experience with analyzing information
  • Data entry experience
  • Must to maintain discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • Demonstrates professional integrity
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one's own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications - especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • HRIS Systems experience a plus
