SVP Enterprise Sales

The SVP, Enterprise Sales leads all sales efforts in the market segment of financial institutions (banks, brokerage, insurance, RIA, trust) with than more than $500K ARR potential for eMoney’s products and services.  This player/coach is responsible and accountable for leading the company’s efforts to identify, source, develop and close new enterprise sales relationships working closely with internal and, where necessary external, business partners to consistently deliver annual ARR targets for the segment.  S/he will also lead and build an team of four (4) sales professionals focused on this institutional segment.


Job Description

  • Hire, direct and develop the Enterprise Sales group and support the company’s sales and marketing efforts with concise and honest leadership and coaching skills
  • Develop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, pitches and wins
  • Lead and coach Enterprise Sales Managers in all phases of the selling process to achieve agreed upon targets and performance metrics
  • Develop and coordinate the Enterprise sales selling methodology, activities and reporting
  • Working with the Enterprise Sales team, understand target customer needs, develop proposals and accurately articulate eMoneys value proposition at the executive level
  • Actively participate with Marketing in the creative discussions and planning of the marketing strategies and programs targeted at Enterprise relationships
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results, evolving and adapting as appropriate
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events and programs, as well as at various community or other business meetings to promote the company
  • Collaborate with all senior leadership to develop multi-year business plans
  • Contribute actively in on-going informal and formal dialogue and feedback processes with product management, technology, service and training to advance the product and service roadmap
  • Demonstrate strategic thought leadership and executive presence by consulting with clients and industry experts, developing and advancing eMoney’s point of view in the fin tech and wealth management industry through social media postings and speaking at industry conferences
  • Identify ideas for new products, services, and partners with the goal of increasing client retention and client growth
  • Foster a culture of progressive professional and personal development and mentoring of the sales team



  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters/advanced degree preferred
  • 10-15+ years of experience in a senior-level consultative sales position in the financial services space, with an emphasis on fin tech preferred
  • SaaS technology background
  • Demonstrated experience managing sales teams
  • Strong executive presence – experience and comfort working with C-level executives
  • Strong knowledge of financial services / advisory business models
  • Broad based knowledge of managing risk and financial aspects for growing a business; able to balance both business and enterprise needs
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
  • Ability to strategize and make decisions in a programmatic way with C-level executives, within the context of both smaller and large businesses
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to work across all departments
  • Strong leadership skills and team orientation
  • Ability to develop and manage constructive relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrate grace under pressure and an ability to manage complex negotiations to create win-win solutions
