Performance & Remediation Analyst

The Performance & Remediation Analyst assists in the gathering and analysis of information for developing and modifying systems and/or processes to address business needs related to data reconciliation, remediation and performance measurement validation. Performance Measurement validation includes daily tasks including extensive validation of daily performance calculations that are displayed to our end clients through multiple channels. The role will entail coordination, communication, and work flow management amongst the team, our clients and technology teams as necessary.   The Remediation Analyst will understand, organize, analyze data and the performance requests from our clients and work with business units to fulfill requirements and manage expectations.  This role will utilize root cause analysis, technology, resources and past experience to create road maps and project plans that can be utilized by the team for future initiatives. Desired experience includes the ability to understand cash flows, interest, accruals and market values between various data points.


Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform daily research and resolution/remediation of data breaks generated from Consolidated Data Platform reconciliation process. Can articulate understanding of analysis to team
  • Analyze and validate daily Performance Measurement returns through outlier and inlier analysis
  • Gather and track information, analyze trends, issues and propose solutions to improve process and service. Interprets problems and provides initial analysis toward resolution
  • Work with technology team on design of interactive and intuitive GUI that will produce exception report analysis for support staff
  • May assist in the preparation of logic flow charting and documentation of test plans for new products/services
  • Performs basic data analysis and reporting. Ability to work collaboratively across groups to develop and define enhancements to remediation tool sets
  • Has a good understanding of corporate actions and its impact to performance reporting
  • Collaborate with business partners and key internal operations departments to develop performance communication/training delivered to specific business unit support associates
  • Assist in the write up detailed policy and procedures to ensure compliance with the product service design specifications for performance reporting. Act as an administrator of this information to keep current with process, compliance and regulations


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in Finance, Operations Management, Computer Science or similar disciplines
  • Familiarity with brokerage fundamentals and/or experience working with financial intermediaries preferred
  • 3+ years of financial services experience, including data analysis or comparable operations experience
