Office Coordinator

The Office Coordinator provides receptionist, facilities and general office support for eMoney’s San Diego Office.  In addition to performing a variety of clerical activities and related tasks, the Office Coordinator also supports various departments in the company with scheduling, coordination and workload management. This is a full-time position (8 hours a day, Monday-Friday) but we will consider candidates willing to work at least 6 hours a day, Monday-Friday.

Job Description

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
  • Answer all incoming calls and direct to appropriate queue or employee
  • Greet incoming guests and visitors, manage visitor badges, provide office tours and contact appropriate employee/department
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail
  • Manage UPS/FedEx account and all shipping needs
  • Place orders for, track and maintain office supplies, food and beverages for the San Diego office
  • Maintain appearance of all common areas in the San Diego office
  • Monitor office expenditures, perform basic bookkeeping activities
  • Pre-register all training attendees and place food orders for in-office San Diego training sessions, print badges for attendees
  • Support the San Diego team and visitors to the San Diego office with various administrative tasks
  • Assist in vendor relationship management
  • Serve as liaison between San Diego office and office vendors, as well as Aventine building maintenance, security and management


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with receptionist, office administration or coordination


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable in use of office machines (copier, fax, scanner, shredder)
  • Flexibility to take on new/different tasks
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
