VP, Cloud Application Services

The VP of Cloud Application Services will be a member of the Ellucian Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading Cloud Application Services- specifically- our Cloud Assurance practice (post-launch/ go-live) through profitable revenue growth and delivery of an exceptional customer experience. This position reports directly to our Head of Cloud Services and will manage a team of 130+ globally.
Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. The VP of Cloud Application Services will partner with our customers in enabling their transformation to cloud/SaaS solutions and ensuring successful adoption of these solutions by building a world class experience for customers built on repeatability, responsiveness and leveraging more automation and less manual process.

Key Responsibilities:

    Full accountability for the formulation and execution of strategic goals and initiatives for Cloud Assurance (all support process and procedures post go-live) Manage Cloud assurance strategic planning and quarterly business reviews Monitor progress of key Cloud Assurance initiatives and priorities Meet regularly with Cloud Assurance leadership team to track results and challenges Ensure that company commitments and priorities are being executed Ensure financial KPIs and targets are meet for the cloud assurance teams Communicate with entire team on the goals, objectives and directives of the entire Cloud Business Unit Ensure standardized Global Assurance practices by setting goals and objectives for Cloud Assurance leadership team Directly interfacing with customers to solve problems and break down barriers Drive cultural adoption and participation in team culture for positive, cross org collaboration and ownership Mentor direct reports in management techniques Plan and communicate goals and objectives necessary to guarantee the assurance team:
      Is ready for next generation global assurance modes Understands where organizational adjustments (growth or decline) will happen Is agile in their response to needed changes


    10+ years of experience in Cloud Services leadership; with proven experience building & leading a Global Cloudorganization Having awareness of cloud assurance challenges and her/his team's plans to overcome them Knowledge of common themes and struggles for customers across all regions Ability to plan and execute strategy globally; while being aware of regional issue Ability address regional issues in-line with cloud assurance strategy Ability and experience to maintain a detailed and up to date knowledge of advances in Cloud and SaaS technology Previous experience in helping organizations through the transition from on premise to Cloud support is highly desired #LI-JM1
