Responsibilities and Requirements
Will focus primarily on learning analytics as it relates to course development improvement. Data will be obtained from Client's Analytics and Decision Support Unit
Responsibilities include the following:
Working directly with the deans and the Client's Analytics to formulate relevant research questions, use data to inform decision making, and set goals and strategic direction. Internal, external, and trended data will be used to improve course development.
Collaborating with staff on outcomes assessment to ensure that course-embedded assessment strategies allow for the collection and analysis of learning outcomes data as required for accreditation reporting needs and continuous improvement.
Combining analytics, interactions, and workflows in ways that support transforming insights into actions that improve student success and business efficiencies.
Using a robust analytics approach that includes descriptive, diagnostic, and where applicable predictive, and prescriptive reports. Areas of the Client's interest include data-driven services, business-process improvements and ROI, and academic program performance.
Identify and engage in data quality initiatives around course development improvement. This work will include selecting and examining data to generate new strategic information, data management, data analysis, developing reports that serve the real-time needs of decision-makers, and leverage data visualization to enhance operational efficiencies.
Working with the EDIOA, outcomes assessment staff, and faculty program directors to ensure that course-embedded assessments meet the reporting needs of the Client.
Identifying and addressing training and development needs and opportunities for Client staff.
Experience in analytics for learning.
