Vice President Sales, Corporate Solutions

The position
Position title: Vice President Sales, Corporate Solutions 
Reports to: President, Corporate Solutions 
Location: London, United Kingdom

The Vice President Sales will manage the sales to high-profile corporate clients, mainly Fortune 2000 companies and government organisations, in 3-6 countries. Many countries have a Country Manager, but new markets may have sales people only. Currently reports to the President, will be part of central leadership team of roughly 10 people where 2-3 are VP Sales (+Marketing, Recruiting and Development, Product Development, Academics, Operations, Finance). 

Specific Responsibilities
  • Spearhead EF Corporate Solutions (EF CS) aggressive expansion in the 3 – 6 countries by delivering a mutually agreed sales budget (10-50% revenue growth per year depending on market)
  • Acquire new Key Accounts (clients with annual sales revenue exceeding 300,000 USD)
  • Build lasting, consultative relationships with influencers, stakeholders and decision makers in key client accounts
  • Represent EF CS versus the industry, media and business community, as well as versus the EF organization – both locally and globally
  • Recruit top talent, including both managers and individual sales people, secure full staffing and develop stars among current staff
  • Create a performance-oriented culture which enables EF CS to become a state-of-the-art B2B sales organization
  • Ensure focus on key metrics, translate goals into actionable business plans on a strategic and operational level, hold people accountable for assigned responsibilities
  • Align internal resources and ensure successful cooperation between Pre-sales, Sales, and Operations functions
  • Feed back market and client input to guide future product development and other improvements to make sure EF CS maintains its market leading position

The Person
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong track record of leading a fast growing B2B/consultative selling sales organization
  • Proven in-depth experience in managing successful sales teams
  • Global cultural experience – should have worked in different countries or in a fast-paced exciting multinational corporation or lived or studied abroad
  • Strong negotiator, great with numbers and contracts
  • Personal network at Senior Management level within large enterprises and Fortune 500 companies (network within the HR community a strong plus)
  • University graduate, preferably with a Business and/or MBA degree
  • Complete fluency in English. A second or even third language a strong plus
