Are you enthusiastic, organised, have a great attention to detail and capable of using your own initiative? Would you like to manage the transportation of our activities schedule whilst working in a team to promote a full activity programme? Then this might be the job for you!
EF is searching for a Transport Manager for our summer programme. This would be the perfect job to boost your CV by gaining management experience while working in a large international organisation.
What will you be doing?
Take overall responsibility of the full activity transport programme. From managing the liaison and booking of all transport for activities to working with the wider activities team organising student parties or sports tournaments, to planning the logistics of a weekend excursion. This is a busy yet rewarding summer job. You will gain invaluable experience in strategic planning, management, logistics and customer service and the role could lead to many other full-time opportunities within EF. You will receive in-house training and support and learn how to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
What will you take away?
After a summer of working as an EF Transport Manager, you will enhance your organisational and management knowledge and experience by working with an international team. You will be a proven leader, adaptable and capable of solving various issues without hesitation while working under pressure. The international surroundings will fine tune your communication skills as well as planning skills.
Who will you be working with?
In EF we are 52,000 staff, faculty and teachers, working in over 612 offices and schools across 52 countries, and have a global presence in 116 countries. But we are also a local team of managers, teachers, accommodation, student services and activities coordinators (plus many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share.
What is required?
To be successful in this role you must be detail oriented and able to cope under pressure. You need to be a team player that is equally happy sitting and planning as you are mucking in with the team to get things done. We need you to be legally able to work in Malta, to have a Maltese/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, we also need you to speak at least C2 English.
In terms of mindset, we all have a ‘going above and beyond, never settling for the status quo' mentality. If you think the same way and want to be the person who makes a difference for our students and staff, then don’t hesitate and apply!
Our Transport Manager role is 12+ weeks and would cover June, July & August.
