EF Eastbourne is searching for Residence Advisors this summer. This would be the perfect job to boost your CV while making friends for life!
What will you be doing?
Working together with the Accommodation and Activities team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. Together with the other Residence Advisors, you will be responsible for one of our residences and the students who are staying there in the summer. Your job is to ensure our students have a Home Away from Home experience. You will take care of check-in’s and check-outs, room and curfew checks, activities and will be the first point of contact in case of emergencies. You are therefore also the person to think fast and start solving the problem. This is a truly memorable experience, and an opportunity for you to be a part of a truly international team in delivering a world-class product.
What will you take away?
After a summer of working as a Residence Advisor, you will leave having created amazing memories for your students and managed a team of international staff. You will expand your organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. After having this job for the summer, you’ll be more confident in making decisions and solving challenging situations. Next to that, you will improve your social and cultural skills and will probably make friends for a lifetime.
Who will you be working with?
In EF we are 52,000 staff, faculty and teachers, working in over 612 offices and schools across 52 countries, and have a global presence in 116 countries. But we are also a local team of managers, teachers, accommodation, student services and activities coordinators (plus many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share.
What is required?
In terms of mindset, we are all going above and beyond and never accept the status quo. If you think the same and want to be the person who makes a difference for our students, then don’t hesitate and apply!
We need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, you also need to have a fluent level of English.
