Summer Camp Lifeguard
Are you a certified lifeguard with a passion for leading, working with and coaching young people? Working with people from around the world, developing yourself and providing others with amazing, new experiences... is that what you would love to do this summer? Then this might be the job for you!
We have multiple locations available across the UK - our locations are residential so accommodation and meals are provided. Applications from abroad are welcome!
What will you be doing
While working at one of our summer camps, you will be both working as a lifeguard and planning and organising activities for groups of 34 young international students.
A truly memorable experience you will interact with students from across the world daily.
Every day is different from working as a lifeguard in the morning to taking students on unique excursions to running epic themed Murder Mysteries while dressed as your favorite film character in the afternoon!
The role also includes admin duties, such as taking registers and welfare duties.
What will you take away?
After a summer of working as a Summer Camp Lifeguard, you will leave having created truly memorable memories for your students. You will gain experience working as a lifeguard and expand your creative skills by enhancing activities utilising resources provided by EF. Working with students who are traveling to a foreign country your communication skills are maximised to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
Tasked with being the main responsible for your activity group; you will grow your leadership skills by guiding your group from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable.
Who will you be working with?

Locally we are a team of managers, teachers, accommodation-, student services-, activities coordinators (and many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share with you.
What is required?
To be successful in this role, we need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, you also need to have a C2 English level.
You will need a lifeguarding certificate, such as a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
