Social Marketing Associate Director/ Director

We are seeking for a Social Marketing Associate Director/ Director with an eye for the original and a passion for all things digital. Bring your ideas to the table and develop a fresh-take on social media strategy. This Social Marketing leader commands all the necessary skills within the social discipline, along with the ability to build and develop our current efforts on social media. An ideal candidate must be a strong leader, a brand champion with a passion for Education industry and an opportunist that grows our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the digital strategy on owned media and earned media, including content/community/ KOL management on key social and web/ mobile channels, including website, marketing emails, Apps, Wechat, Weibo, Blogs/ Forums and etc.
  • Lead the team and be responsible for the team’s ability to create and execute social marketing strategies that meet business objective.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including paid media, UX, development and agencies, to define the long term and short term social/content marketing strategy and drive social campaign development to achieve the company overall marketing acquisition and revenue targets and continuously improve marketing efficiency.
  • Improve the visibility of the brand social image through multiple social media platforms and owned digital channels, make sure the communications message aligns with the brand objectives
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing technologies and trends, identify possible opportunities to implement new trends helping business growth and brand’s leading position.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or public communication related.
  • At least 5 years’ integrated marketing experience, including leads generation, thought leadership/content management, social media and online events, as well as promoting and measuring effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication and project management skill, able to drive cross functional team collaboration and gain senior management engagement
  • Solid knowledge of China digital and social media landscape and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience of website development and familiarity with content marketing tactics. Previous working experience in a leading consumer brand is a strong plus.
  • Digital thinking, strong self-learning ability, able to deliver results under pressure. Must be a social media enthusiast.
  • Mandarin speaker and proficient in written and spoken English is a must.
