Senior Admissions Consultant

EF Academy is looking for an Admissions consultant to join our Almaty team and contribute to its sales and marketing activities. This a hands-on, entrepreneurial, developing and fun role in a fast-growing business and a stepping stone to more senior positions at EF in Kazakhstan and beyond. You will report into Head of Admission, and travelling will be required occasionally. 

Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Creatively driving sales of EF Academy in existing and new sales channels as per sales targets set for the region
  • Building up and maintaining relationships to students, teachers and representatives from educational institutions
  • Telemarketing, presentations and sales meetings with visiting clients
  • Participation in the preparation process of the programs, like visa and flight organization plus liaising with production offices globally
  • Taking part in educational fairs, career days at universities

Formal requirements:

  • Degree from university, business school or similar
  • 3-5 year of experience in sales, preferably with educational organizations, tourism and/or consumer industry
  • Upper-intermediate English
  • At least upper-intermediate Kazakh and native Russian
  • Permit to work in Kazakhstan

  • Experience from either extensive traveling or living, studying and working abroad
  • Knowledge of the Education/Travel Industry, is considered an advantage
