Are you searching for a way to have a positive impact on others by broadening their horizons and experiences through travel opportunities? Do you believe the best way to learn another culture and lifestyle is by immersing yourself in it? Have you personally enhanced your worldview and skillset by traveling abroad? Do you seek to help connect others in meaningful ways, but don’t see yourself excelling in a sales-oriented environment? EF High School Exchange Year is seeking a thoughtful, motivated individual with a passion for making others’ dreams of traveling abroad and improving their English a reality. Tell Me More
Each year, EF High School Exchange Year screens highly-motivated high school students from Europe and Asia to make their dreams of living with an American host family and attending an American high school come to fruition. Welcoming nearly 3,000 participants each program year necessitates significant logistical coordination to sufficiently prepare our students for a meaningful semester or year in the United States. As a Screening Specialist, you will work closely with a team of colleagues to get to know our host family applicants as closely as possible through application documents, reference calling, and independent research to ensure our students are placed with caring, supportive individuals in communities large and small across the country.
In addition to having a critical eye for details, a successful Screening Specialist will take pride in his/her ability to pair our talented, diverse students with the best possible host family match in the United States. As a Screening Specialist, you serve as the final decision maker regarding which host families we accept on our program. As such, your ability to impact the quality of our students’ experience in the U.S. is unparalleled. You will also play a hand in constantly improving and evolving our processes and initiatives as an organization to ensure we are recognized as the highest quality exchange program in the industry.
