We are looking for a Salesforce.com Developer to work with us on the BEST Salesforce implementation in the education industry!
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Salesforce Developer providing customization, development, enhancement and support for large scale projects on Salesforce.com. The candidate must have good knowledge of the latest SFDC products (Salesforce1, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, Wave, etc.).
The role is based in Bangalore, in the main EF IT office (at the Salarpuria Cambridge Mall), which happens to be one of the best IT environments to work at in the whole of Bangalore; 250 people on site, monthly happy hours, regular fun company events/competitions, roof-terrace cafeteria and patio with city view, open office environment, transportation parking, flexible work schedule, casual dress code, and more).
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
Active collaboration in the design & development of Visualforce pages and Sites for both internal and external customers.
Extensive involvement in Apex coding (triggers, classes) and advanced business logic development.
Maintaining the production environment by fixing bugs and supporting on open tickets, working in conjunction with the SFDC Administrators.
Liaise with the Team Lead, Director of Development and VP of Technology and colleagues all around the world to schedule and prioritize high volumes of various project-driven and support tasks.
3+ years of professional work experience including 2+ years of Force.com development experience.
SFDC DEV 450 Certified.
Strong background with Object-Oriented programming languages, and knowledge of a server-side development language such as Java or C#.
Experience developing advanced business logic solutions using SFDC.
Comfortable providing time estimates and managing feedback loops.
Ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical individuals.
Experience with the SFDC toolkit (e.g. Visualforce, Apex, S-controls, Triggers, Chatter, Apex Data Loader, Apex Explorer, etc.).
Driven to rigorously test and refine code to get the design right.
Excellent spoken & written English.
Applied knowledge of CRM and the Sales, Service and Marketing functions, preferably within the education industry.
Salesforce administration & configuration expertise.
Salesforce deployment experience for production & development; Eclipse, Trialforce, AppExchange, Beta and Managed Packages.
Experience developing scalable and performing applications using .NET and SQL Server.
Ability to work independently and across product teams.
Exposure to entire SDLC from solution definition, solution architecture definition to design, development and testing of SFDC applications.
Experience in systems integration (SSO and Web Services).
In-depth knowledge and experience in developing Salesforce1 Mobile solutions (Apps).
B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field.
