Residence Manager - Summer Opportunities across the UK

EF is searching for Residence Managers this summer. This would be the perfect job to boost your CV by gaining management experience while working in an international company!
What will you be doing?
Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. You would have the overall responsibility for a residence and the students who are staying there. Your job is to support a team of international leaders to ensure our students have a Home Away from Home experience. You will take care of room allocation, catering needs, and ensure that arrivals and departures run smoothly. You will supervise a team of leaders and ensure that residence staff work in harmony with your team. You will liaise with residence suppliers on anything from cleaning to theme events and safety. What will you take away?
After a summer of working as a Residence Manager, you will leave having created truly amazing memories for your students and managed a team of international staff. You will expand your organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Learning to maximise room allocations and catering slots, you will be confident in fixing complex situations. By managing staff onsite, you will grow your leadership skills by assisting your leaders in guiding their groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable.
Who will you be working with?
In EF we are 52,000 staff, faculty and teachers, working in over 612 offices and schools across 52 countries, and have a global presence in 116 countries. But we are also a local team of managers, teachers, accommodation, student services and activities coordinators (plus many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share.
What is required?

We need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, you also need to have a fluent level of English.
Please not that this role is residential.
Our Residence Management roles are available for 4-12 weeks during June, July & August.
