The role

As a Regional manager you will join the UK operations team for the production, marketing and organization of our High School Year Exchange program in the UK. You will operate in a truly international environment and a young and dynamic team. We liaise on a daily basis with our foreign offices, field staff, local schools, host families and our international students (aged 16-18).

What experience should I have?

We are looking for a confident, friendly and organised individual with an excellent telephone manner. The ideal candidate will have had a minimum of 2 years’ experience with cultural exchange programmes and/or educational travel and have some knowledge in the field of education within the state system of the UK. The position requires diplomatic abilities and creative insight reflecting a sound and detailed knowledge of the British culture, analytical skills and to react swiftly, with clarity and certainty. Particular commitment and some late evenings are required during peak summer months and to be part of an on-call rota. Above all you should be tenacious and flexible in your approach to your work. Sales experience is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 To be the speaking partner for a designated number of volunteer field staff – guiding and advising on a wide range of student/school and student/host family related issues.

 To communicate with EF offices around the world regarding operations and programme related issues.

 General administrative responsibilities within designated region.

 To assist with the organisation of training meetings and conferences on a national and regional level for field staff

 Recruitment of new volunteer host families and coordinators and to train

 To be responsible for placing students in host families and schools which would involves following up on leads.

 Field trips to meet and troubleshoot in designated areas.



 Bachelor's (HBO) degree

 Excellent customer service skills

 Quality driven and always going the extra mile

 Ability to multitask and prioritize competing projects and issues

 Attention to detail

 Proactive and ability to work independently

 Excellent verbal and written skills in English (preferably native)

 Positive attitude and great team spirit

 No 9-5 mentality; open to travel

 Driving license
