EF Educational Homestay Program (EHP) is a non-profit organization based in Cambridge, MA, established in 1979 to organize escorted group travel programs for international students visiting North America. EHP is dedicated to encouraging global awareness through international exchange. Our students attend English and culture classes weekday mornings, participate in organized activities weekday afternoons, and occasionally go on weekend field trips.
Summer 2018 students ages 13 to 17 from Europe will be visiting Ventura County for 3 weeks and there are opportunities for you to get involved. We currently have Program Leader/Recruiter positions available (usually one person fulfills both positions).
Host Family Recruiter Position:
Part Time till students arrival, Independent Contractor Status
Commission Based Pay, $85-$135 per student/foreign leader placed
Brands EHP in the Ventura County Area
Recruits and interviews volunteer Host Families
Works closely with the local Area Manager and Site Director to successfully place and match EHP students in stable caring environments
Program Leader Position:
Full Time Seasonal Employment
3 weeks during the summer
Weekly Salary $455
Organizes, facilitates and participates in program's afternoon activities & full day activities (extra pay for some full-day excursions)
Oversees student and host family welfare
Works with local team to ensure smooth running of the program
