The Role:

The HR, Benefits and Payroll Coordinator is a key part of the employee experience, ensuring EF people have the resources and support they need to contribute to their success. You are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the human resources function together with the Payroll and HR Manager. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self–starter with strong communication skills, a keen eye for details and a passion for supporting their colleagues.  



  • Be a point person for the group benefits plan, RRSP, and other employee benefits and programs, and processing all enrolments, changes, and updates
  • Expertly assist in monthly payroll entry and processing
  • Complete monthly reporting, ROE’s, HRIS and employee personal file updating
  • Support new hire process with contracts of employment and entering new hires into the HRIS system – ADP’s WorkForce Now
  • Engage new employees through company benefits plan information sessions
  • Health and Safety committee lead
  • Support Payroll and HR Manager with HR tasks as needed

  • A high level of professionalism and discretion
  • The ability to work and build relationships with a wide variety of managers and staff across all departments.
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a focus in Human Resources
  • Have 1 or more years of relevant administrative experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills; quick to learn new systems
