Facilities Coordinator

EF International Language Centres in Vancouver is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for our fantastic new location in downtown Vancouver. This individual will report to the School Director and perform various tasks to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our students and our staff.  This is a customer service focused position that involves working with both a team and working independently.

OUTLINE:

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the reception area, greeting and welcoming students, ensuring all offices and classrooms are kept and maintained.  The ideal candidate must be flexible and ready to assist in all other departments within the school.  This position is an integral role in our school and will assist with different student events and general student welfare developments. Our School Director will guide the right person through the day to day tasks as well as managing larger projects.

The ideal candidate will ensure all school facilities and equipment in good working order by carrying out regular and proactive building checks – this will include assembling/moving furniture, repairing fixtures and fittings, general upkeep, etc. This position is also responsible for all IT equipment within the school including student/staff computers, laptops, classroom projectors, iPads, photocopiers, phones, etc. and will need to perform regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to Immediately and directly undertake the necessary work to resolve IT/facilities issues. The goal of this position is to repair problems before customers notice them.
