EF360 Global Management Trainee Program
EF360 Global Management Trainee
Available positions located in Boston, Hong Kong, London, Lucerne, Shanghai & Zurich
pending passport eligibility
We are looking for graduating seniors with 360 degrees of talent and vision to be part of our highly selective one year management trainee program. 360 Global Management Trainees will be the future generation of EF leaders, and innovative thinkers, who will grow quickly into roles where they’ll use their natural insight and the knowledge gained during their year as a 360, to help EF continue its rapid growth.
The job will be highly demanding, but very rewarding. If you are deterred by jetlag, going above and beyond, or working long hours, this program is not for you.
By the end of the program, you’ll be well along your way in an exciting career at EF. You’ll be equipped with deep, hands-on knowledge of the industry as well as the expansive network of contacts and mentors you’ll have made all over the company, and the world, during your year as a 360.
It’s as much a mission as it is a job. You’ll assist an EF President who will act as your mentor, your supervisor, and your friend. You could be asked to produce a flash mob for a viral marketing campaign, analyze sales data, or be a production assistant on a video shoot. No assignment is too big or too small. You’ll be based in Boston, but you need to be prepared to travel both domestically and internationally. We guarantee you will be challenged, have real responsibility, work on interesting projects, meet multi-cultural individuals and have fun while working in our global offices. You need to possess strong analytical and communication skills that will help you collaborate with teams and lead a project.
• Impressive academic credentials; Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluency in English and at least one other language is preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Clear analytical skills
• Sharp combination of quantitative and qualitative skills
• Aspirations to someday be a president, founder or CEO of a company
Once you become truly 360 (to us that means fully versed in EF’s entrepreneurial operating style), you will be given a position within our organization that best suits your talents and skills. Positions can range anywhere from managing a team in Boston, to opening a new office in a merging market, to analyzing business data in Zurich.
Application: Please submit your resume and cover letter online. We screen applications on a rolling basis and will invite a select number of qualified applicants to complete the EF360 Challenge.
The Challenge: EF has just purchased a spacecraft for 1 billion USD, making it the first education company to break into the intergalactic travel market. As our new EF360 Global Management Trainee, you have been tasked with signing up the first 100 groups of students and teachers to travel with EF into space! You have 1,000 packages of astronaut food, 500 hula hoops, an Apple Watch, a VR headset, and a panda suit. Tell us what you would do in this scenario.
Design a business plan that is for profit and for good, and includes organizational and financial implications. While any creative format is welcome, video submissions should be kept under three minutes, and written proposals should be no more than 500 words. It goes without saying that the content should be captivating and brilliant!
Hint: this is the time to show us your business savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, and creativity! We look forward to hearing what you dream up. Any creative format is welcome, although video submissions should be captivating and under three minutes and written proposals should be brilliant and under 500 words.
