Database Administrator

As our Database Administrator you will work with diverse and challenging financial systems related issues and IT network/server.  The daily job ranges from sharing best practice with financial systems worldwide, to managing strategic questions relating to overall IT but with a focus on database administration

As Database Administrator for EF you will work with:

  • Configure database servers
  • Design backup processes to the databases
  • Monitor and maintain health and security
  • Support the development of strategy, structure and integrations for cooperation with architects in other EF departments.
  • Implementing performance tuning on the databases based on monitoring
    Planning, designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster
  • Recovery for each database (HADR) based on requirements for its workload
  • Planning, designing and creating databases - especially for Business intelligence
  • Develop business intelligence reports

    Your Background:

  • You have solid experience and knowledge in Windows Sever and MS SQL server.
  • You communicate your DBA perspective on any area with ease and in fluent English.
  • You have a degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • As this is a central function you should be prepared travel around to the EF offices
  • You preferably have experience from :

    - Install server software and updates

    - Monitor and maintain health and security

    - Design backup processes for servers
