Cyber Security Intern

We are looking for an intern to join the growing security team at EF! We are growing our security posture and we’re looking for a trustworthy, hard-working, self-starter with a genuine interest in the cyber-security space.

 

The Role (Summer Internship)  
Are you interested in learning about all aspects of information technology? Would you like to learn the basics of cyber security? Do you have strong analytical capabilities? Do you think you’re smarter than the average hacker?

In this role you will have unique exposure to many different aspects of cyber security. You will be helping to secure applications that service customers all over the world 24 hours a day. You will become familiar with tools like SIEM, Vulnerability scanners, Firewalls, and Anti-virus. Cyber-security has touchpoints in every area of Information technology from cloud computing to code development.

Prior experience IS NOT a requirement, but a genuine interest in technology, cloud computing, and security is a must.

Requirements 

  • College or Graduate student
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Innovation, an eye for detail, and a heart for the big picture
  • Experience using Windows and Linux
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, solid communication skills and a desire to tackle the complex problems
  • Experience with Python and/or statistical analytics would be beneficial
