About Travel Plus

Travel Plus is the newest product in EF’s tours portfolio creating authentic cross-cultural experiences for Chinese customers through group tours. Our current focus is on showcasing Europe, the European Way. Relaxed itineraries, interaction with local European guides for an immersive cultural experience and included meals and entrances that allow our customers to spend two weeks in the shoes of a local.

Role: reports to the Director of Market Development 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training of our on-tour translators so they can best support our customers
  • Pre- departure communication to customers
  • Support emergency operations and customer service team during travel periods
  • Manage customer information within EF systems
  • Communicate with our sales team in Shanghai and a multinational operations team in Zurich, Switzerland to ensure a beautiful on tour experience
  • Continuously improve our product by collecting feedback from customers, Tour Directors, EF Staff and your on-tour experience

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Strong at English and fluent in Mandarin
  • Positive attitude – you think nothing is impossible and your positivity can inspire customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident in speaking to customers or training translators
  • Experience using internal systems for sales management (salesforce) is a benefit
  • Familiarity with Europe is a benefit
