Customer service coordinator

EF Antwerp is searching for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Customer service coordinator. In this role you will assume responsibility in our Student Services team who are the face of the EF school for both our students and staff.  This is the perfect opportunity to grow your career and gain experience in an international environment.

This role is fixed term contract of 3 months.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing excellent pre and post sales customer service and support
  • To manage the administration department and work with all departments to ensure the provision of excellent customer support to our international students
  • To manage group bookings with the support of the activities department and to be a point of contact for group leaders
  • Monitors school’s Student Service by ensuring advice given is accurate & efficient, staff are friendly & helpful, and information given is up to date
  • Organizing airport transfers in liaison with the transport team
  • Student welfare, safeguarding and discipline
  • Manages weekly intakes of new students, ensuring correct intake information/handouts are prepared, smooth running of registration, testing & talks, passport ID checking, following up missing students and so on
  • Manages first week chats (Face-to-face evaluations) and ensures any concerns raised are followed up by the appropriate department
  • Ensures that visa compliance requirements are being met
  • Is familiar with requirements of accreditation bodies and ensures that Student Services departments meet these standards at all times

You will develop knowledge from each department and is, therefore, a great stepping-stone for future roles within the company. Dealing with student and staff queries daily, as well as the compliance requirements of a large school - you will not only enhance your customer service skills but also your management skills and your ability to problem-solve and react quickly to demanding tasks.
