Customer Experience Internship

At EF Malaga we are looking for an energetic, young professional who wants to make an impact by delivering the best experience to our students.


  • Exact duties to be allocated on arrival and subject to change but to be administrative & student contact mostly based with the Activities team
  • Accommodation provided in on-site student residence in shared room (sharing with Residence Advisor)
  • In-suite bathroom facilities (shared with Residence Advisor)
  • Breakfast daily in school cafeteria provided free of charge (lunch Monday – Sunday)
  • Cooking facilities available in the residence for lunch/evening meal
  • Local work commute travel costs will be paid (bus pass)
  • Free access to WiFi
  • Opportunity to undertake specific projects if desired
  • Preferred length of internship is four - six months
  • Complimentary return transfer from Malaga airport



  • Internship must be part of a University or Further Education approved placement e.g Erasmus
  • Excellent Spanish and English language skills (CEFR B2+)
  • Outgoing & confident personality with friendly manner and good sense of humour
  • Good communicator who enjoys meeting people
  • Flexible, energetic & flourishes in busy & varied work environment
  • Organised & creative, attention to presentation & detail

General duties

  • General administrative & clerical duties
  • Assisting with registration and induction of new students on arrival
  • Answering student enquiries
  • Filing paperwork
  • Help with display of information around the school
  • Acting as designated responsible adult to accompany students for hospital/doctor visits, off-site trips, and excursions where needed (may be required out of hours)
  • Assisting with supervision of weekend excursions if requested


Additional duties: Interns are allocated to one main department but may help in other departments as needed

Activities Department

  • Help to organise, promote and supervise weekday, evening and weekend social activities
  • Assist putting together weekly programme of events & monthly newsletter
  • Research new activities
  • Entering activities information on my.ef website feature
  • Prepare student folders for intakes
  • Prepare documents & information for weekend excursions
  • Help with design & production of promotional literature for activities


Customer Support/Welfare Department

  • Reception duties
  • Processing new enrolments & changes to students courses
  • Answering the telephone to external customers
  • Distributing daily post
  • Preparing and distributing weekly student evaluations to school staff
  • Daily class checks for under 18 students
  • Assist with welfare follow up on under 18s missing class and nightly curfews

 *Please note that in order to be eligible, your internship must be an officially required part of your university course.
