AWS Certification (Architect and/or DevOps)



  1. Hands-on configuration, tuning and monitoring of AWS services, as required by the several IT applications
  2. Scripting infrastructure deployment and configuration (Windows and Linux-based images)
  3. Design and document technical solutions for applications deployed in AWS
  4. Establish a good practice of enterprise design patterns and guidelines for the development of applications in AWS
  5. Knowledge sharing and mentoring within the Architect team and across functional teams

Technical Competencies (Required)

  • Hands-on experience with computing, storage and network services in AWS
    • Essential: AWS EC2, S3, ElastiCache, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53
    • Highly valued: Lambda, Beanstalk, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, Glacier, Redshift, Shield
  • Infrastructure as Code
    • Scripting (Perl/Python/Shell, Linux Bash)
    • Automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Experience with other public Cloud providers (Azure, GCP) appreciated
  • Cloud Design Patterns
    • High Availability and Auto Scalability
    • Clustering, Load Balancing, DR strategy
    • Security (Infrastructure and Software)
    • Messaging, Queueing, Caching, ESB
    • VPC, DMZ, Subnets
  • Logging and monitoring tools
  • Worked in an Agile practice
