The Role
EF is looking for a highly motivated individual to work in a central role where you will have a glimpse into the operations of the entire company. Thinking creatively, you will apply your existing knowledge and skills to constantly identify ways to improve our service and reduce costs for the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day shipping room operations
  • Staff management
  • Order processing and inventory control
  • Import/export and compliance
  • Budget accountability
  • Monitor material supply/demand
  • Vendor management
  • Enhance production workflow
  • Recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff
  • Development of current staff
  • Invoice processing
  • Project management

This position will continue to evolve with expanded supervisory responsibilities and will report to the Manager of Shipping and Logistics. Qualities that will set you apart in this role and help you to continue your growth:

Requirements

  • Associate or post-secondary education preferred
  • Experience or interest in a shipping/receiving and client service environment preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of automated systems: CRM, materials ordering, inventory and courier software programs a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced yet safe and effectively time-managed manner
  • Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable working within spreadsheets and business intelligence/sharing applications
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
