As the Accounting/Finance intern in the Tours Finance department, you will play an integral part in processing important and sensitive financial information. You will help to ensure that all financial information being recorded is accurate to the best of your knowledge with the tools and training provided. In return, you will be rewarded with more knowledge and experience for your future career and with knowing that you have contributed to the financial reports that help drive business decisions. Your responsibilities will include performing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, working with our sales system and interacting with customer service staff.
Your strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must, and you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment. Daily tasks may include: accounts Receivable – totaling checks, filling out deposit slips, posting journal entries, importing credit cards and lockbox payments; bounced checks and credit card disputes; cross training on accounts payable; bank reconciliations; AP – expense reports processing, communicating/problem solving with the other members of the team and developing a good understanding of the company structure. Requirements: excel skills, detail oriented, organized, good verbal communication skills.
