Academic Program Coordinator

The Opportunity

As a valued member of the academics team, your role is to support the Program Dean in the day to day operation of the program and to assist with future planning and organization.  Collecting and organizing syllabi, building course pages, managing student attendance and other engagement with the academics team, and planning/scheduling academic events are all part of your domain in this role.  There are great opportunities as well to think about efficiencies and build and improve processes.

The successful candidate will be a master of the details, extremely efficient and smart about finding the best solutions.  S/he would be very comfortable with taking initiative and being independent.  Given this is a new role, being comfortable with a bit of ambiguity, having a love for “figuring it out” and a talent for navigating new systems on your own are big plusses.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of databases
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in organizational, operational or logistical functions
  • A positive attitude and team spirit

  • Have excellent project management skills
  • A proven track record in administration and experience in an academic environment is preferable
