Academic and Quality Manager

Description

The Academic services QA Manager is positioned at the forefront of the online language learning arm of the TESOL industry. In this role you will be responsible for keeping pace with the latest trends, specializing in assessing performance, remotely providing expertise and support to Academic Operations Managers located in one of EF’s online teaching centers, researching and developing new methodologies related to quality assurance systems, among other exciting projects.

       Main responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate quality reports
  • Research, innovate and define measuring quality
  • Analyze customer feedback to further develop QA
  • Sets benchmarks and standards for teachers and monitors performance trends
  • Facilitates collaboration between teams, business units and centers
  • Regularly evaluates academic quality of online services delivered by the online centers
  • Developing and designing performance assessment systems
  • Interpret data gathered
  • Develops and creates training as needed

Background

  • College/University graduate
  • CELTA or equivalent (DELTA or equivalent preferred)
  • A minimum of 4 years teaching experience
  • A proven record of teacher development and/or project management
  • Online teaching and training experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and processes is an advantage
