Senior Product Manager - Hospital Programs

The Senior Product Manager, Hospital Programs, a newly created role, will be responsible for creation and execution of programs that improve the treatment path for patients to receive TAVI. He/she will promote and localize existing programs for European markets. He/she will also develop a decision-making environment aiming at piloting and developing the program at EU and local management level and support the acceleration of the program deployment in EU by adjusting the program to market needs. This person will work closely in a multidisciplinary team made of professional educations, learning and development and commercial organizations.

Essential Job Functions

  • D evelop , align and deploy the strategy & tactics for the optimization programs in European markets. Establish methodology to assess market readiness and prioritization of target markets for implementation
  • Define and lead the deployment of project management tools including KPI, committees... aimed at the EU/local leadership teams to monitor, communicate, pilot and develop the program to support the acceleration of the program deployment in EU countries
  • Work with internal/external stakeholders to design promotional materials and organize promotional activities to create general awareness on the program. Lead the localization of the optimization program messaging, promotional tools and activities in partnership and collaboration with local management teams
  • Identify gaps in optimization in different countries/hospital s and build with the multidisciplinary team additional tools/ programs aimed at improving the path to treatment and the TAV I procedure . Analyze opportunities to embed the program in our customer engagement strategy and maximize the value for Edwards Lifesciences

Basic Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • A minimum of 10 years marketing experience
  • Direct experience working in a medical device environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree with industry experience working in/or with clients in the pharma, medical devices, or healthcare/hospitals
  • Experience in developing, promoting, deploying and valuing complex organizational programs impacting hospitals or healthcare institutions
  • Strong expertise in hospital processes, patient pathways and treatment models improvement impacting in-/out hospital stakeholders practices and resources
  • Ability to run marketing programs or launches involving development of promotional tools and activities and communicating them via multi-channels
  • Ability to understand, interpret and manage clinical and economic data from both presentations and publications
  • Clinical experience in the cardiology space is a plus
  • Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders through utilization of organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Creative out of the box thinker who is intellectually curious
  • Possesses good organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong individual contributor. Speaks up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed
  • Travel requirements: Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
