Ebates has a product that people love. Why not join the Ebates team, and help to share that love! We're looking for a BI Manager, Marketing, which will be based on our San Mateo, CA office. In this role, you'll have an amazing opportunity to enter a growing team at a growing company, with a highly visible role to play. You'll be tackling some unique problems due to the scale and surprising complexity of the Ebates business model, and you'll have open access to some amazing, untapped, data sets. Through close collaboration with the Marketing team, you'll help support projects across a variety of programs such as retention, email, mobile app, and other marketing functions.   • Help drive Marketing initiatives that employ new strategies and technology solutions in an effort to increase member engagement and sales
  • Spearhead proper experiment design, and provide advanced analytical support on A/B tests with clear conclusions on test outcome
  • Partner with Marketing leads to identify new reporting and data requirements, document requirements, build reports and coordinate with engineering to provide the necessary data points
  • Project manage the development of data models and algorithms to help Ebates understand our retention tactics better, especially as it relates to incrementality of promotional efforts and customer interaction with Ebates communication/retargeting
  • Monitor customer engagement levels on an ongoing basis. Be the subject matter expert on identifying overall trends and diagnosing data anomalies
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Math from a top-tier university
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of in-depth Business Intelligence experience ideally in partnership with Marketing, Live Ops, or Growth departments
  • Expert proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau Desktop a huge plus)
  • Experience with experiment design and A/B test analysis across multiple KPIs
  • Strong communication skills - must have the ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience communicating analyses and fielding questions from executive team members
  • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to the team
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
  • Experience with cross team project management
  • Experience analyzing email/push notification programs, and combining send/open metrics with internal financial metrics
  • Experience with Hadoop (Hive/Impala) and Python a plus
