Account Manager - ShopStyle

SHOPSTYLE EUROPE is looking for an Account Manager to join our London-based ShopStyle team and lead the global development of our most strategic accounts. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is results-orientated and is looking to work in a fast-paced online environment. This Account Manager is responsible for increasing revenue via excellent partner relationships, strong commercials, creative solutions and permanent sales support, ultimately driving c.20% of global ShopStyle revenue and c.35% of the European P&L. The role reports to the Managing Director of SHOPSTYLE EU.

Job Description

  • Manage international revenue of our top-tier European merchant list across all ShopStyle locales (UK/DE/FR/US/CA/AU/JP), including:
    • Negotiate commission rates
    • Create bespoke media plans and campaigns leveraging our tenancy assets, display media and Collective influencers
    • Develop new opportunities for engagement, including content exchange and creation
    • Manage day-to-day communication
    • Analyze and optimise overall account performance
    • Identify, troubleshoot and ensure resolution of any product feed or on-site content issues
  • Grow revenue generated from top European accounts by developing strategic relationships with retail and affiliate partners, increasing retailer on-site engagement and helping establish the ShopStyle brand across Europe
  • Work with European Merchandising Executives and US Display Managers and Editorial teams to execute sold campaigns
  • Work with the global account management team to improve the business through communication, best-practice sharing and new idea generation
  • Lead key project initiatives within and across teams to support ShopStyle goals

Required qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • c.3-5 years work experience in account management, preferably with high value accounts and exposure to C-level executives
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with Excel
  • Passionate self-starter able to work independently but also as a strong team player
  • Decisive and results orientated with attention to detail
  • Able to move with speed in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Ability to problem-solve using creative thinking
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Past experience working in a retail or fashion environment
  • Past experience working in online / digital sales, or familiarity with affiliate marketing
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in French or German
