Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Welding Technician-2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is 25.44 per hour.

What You'll Do:
The Welding Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of welded components. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, participating in quality inspections, and collaborating within a cross-functional team of skills welders.

In this function, you will:

• Operate an Overhead Crane
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Welding Certification
Position Success Criteria:
• Must be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
• Must be able to wear PPE, including helmets, aprons, sleeves, gloves.
