Eaton's Connected Solutions Group is currently seeking a Technical Marketing Lead. The Connected Solutions team continues to expand the portfolio of intelligent power management solutions that make it easier to integrate renewables and EV charging to support a low-carbon, resilient energy in homes and buildings.

This position can be based in Peachtree City, GA for candidates currently residing within a 50 mile radius of the site or it can be based remotely from a US-based home office. Relocation is not provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The Technical Marketing Lead works with the sales & business development teams to lead technical sales enablement activities & strategic initiatives. As we develop new solutions for Utility, Distributed Energy Resources (DER) integrators & EV Charging the Technical Marketing Lead will work collaboratively with sales & solutions architect teams to position Eaton as a thought leader, lead efforts in ensuring our teams have right tools to succeed with our customers. This role will also play a key role in leading of the group's strategic initiatives to enhance customer / installer experience and innovate with business models.

  • Support development of specification tools & resources to simplify the sales process.
  • Position Eaton as a market & thought leader for Connected Solutions & EV Charging Infrastructure through development of white papers and other application focused resources.
  • Explore ways to improve customer & installer experience, lead development of tools & programs to support that.
  • Help Business Development Manager in development & deployment of new services offerings. This involves strategic thinking & business model innovation.
  • Stay current with latest technologies and standard in relation to utility demand management & DER integration as well as Electric Vehicle Charging.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic):

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Experience within the utility or EV Charging industry
  • Experience in development & deployment of DER systems
  • Prior experience developing specification & sales enablement tool is a plus
