SCM Program Manager

McAllen, TX

Eaton's VEH EMB eMobility division is currently seeking a SCM Program Manager.

What you'll do:

Provide program management support to eMobility for large-scale supply chain programs to meet cost-out and resiliency goals of the organization. Responsible and accountable for the overall project success, including achieving the project financial and non-financial objectives, specifically timing and quality requirements. Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, operations, purchasing and SDE for successful implementation.
Summary of primary responsibilities:
• Directing all aspects of the program teams' day-to-day activities including, quality (supplier and manufacturing), engineering, procurement, materials, finance, and sales.

• Maintains action trackers and heatmaps to record all activities necessary for project execution to implementation.
• Maintains MS Project timelines for all key activities.
• Perpetually monitors and updates program financials (cost and capital) and timing against budget and develops action plans to bring program back on track if needed.
• Managing programs/projects through all stages from identification to start-of-production (SOP).
• Follows Eaton's PRO-Launch program execution stage gate process.
• Ensures team's compliance and timely delivery of PRO-Launch tasks.
• Organizes and leads cross functional team meetings.
• Reports program progress against baseline and leads development of action plans to bring program back on track if needed.
• Participates in communication with customer (i.e. through PowerPoint presentations) to facilitate customer acceptance of Eaton's source changes and rapid implementation.
• Ensures leverage of Eaton Global Procurement Office tools and resources to aid program execution.
• Periodically reports program progress to Senior Management.
AMeets program budget and goals in terms of cost, capital and timing.
BManages a cross functional team.
CCompliance to Eaton's PRO-Launch process

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of program management experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Requirements:
• Program Management certification
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline or supply chain
• Past working experience in design engineering (ME/EE) or quality engineering
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams towards accomplishment of a set of goals

Skills:

• Strong analytical and cognitive skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building and teamwork skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong project management experience with demonstrated history of driving accomplishments through a team
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and document complex business processes and systems.
• Advanced understanding of Logistics processes and freight management tools
• Proficiency in using MS Project, Word, Power Point and Excel.
