Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator (2nd Shift). The core shift hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. This is a direct, full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start. A High School diploma is not required. In addition to Eaton's competitive benefits, Eaton offers $20.58 per hour and a $0.40 per hour shift differential.
What you'll do:
In this function, you will:
- Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
- Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
- Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.
- Read work orders to determine specifications.
- Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
- Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- No relocation is offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred qualifications:
- Press brake operating experience
- Prior assembly experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
